Coonamble is a nice little country town located in central western New South Wales on the banks of the Castlereagh river.
There is a pleasant walk beside the Castlereagh River. It can look unimpressive when there haven’t been heavy rains in the Warrumbungles but, in reality, the Castlereagh River flows underground. After heavy rains it is one of the fastest flowing rivers in New South Wales.
We were asked by council to design and build a nice bowl for their skateboarders, BMXers and scooter riders.
For their skate park we designed and built a combi bowl with square shallow end waterfall to mid-section and extension to deep end providing three different heights allowing users to naturally progress.
