Our philiosophy

Oasis Skate Parks design philosophy is to provide creative, practical and desirable design solutions, achieved through an understanding of site characteristics, industry standards, and the needs of users and the client.

Oasis Skate Parks consists of a design team of qualified professionals, former and current skateboarding professionals, and an experienced construction team.

Skate park design & construction methodologies

A developing trend for the future direction in skate park design is for multi-use facilities. ‘Skate parks’ are now being designed to enable use by a variety of users including skateboarders, bikers, and other wheeled participants. Oasis Skate Parks has embraced this trend in both design and construction methodologies.

The design process also incorporates the ideal of the community youth space incorporating safe seating places, sunshade, and passive complimentary recreation.

We recognise the importance of areas adjacent to the facilities, and consider existing strategic documents such as open space strategies and recreational development plans.

The designs of Oasis Skate Parks include support infrastructure, creative landscapes, passive and active recreation and areas that encourage participation by other members of the community, and respect by the bikers and skaters. Oasis Skate Parks believe that a facility should be considered to be a community and youth precinct, not ‘just’ a skate park.
